OIS Center Director appointed to the Danish Council for Research and Innovation Policy (DFIR)
At the OIS Center, we are proud to announce that our Director, Marie Louise Conradsen, has been appointed as one of the Council's nine members.
On 23 February 2026, the Danish Government appointed a new group of members to the Danish Council for Research and Innovation Policy (DFIR). At the OIS Centre, we are proud to announce that our Director, Marie Louise Conradsen, has been appointed as one of the Council's nine members.
Alongside her new appointment, Marie Louise will continue to lead the OIS Center and maintain her commitments to the Center's activities and development.
On behalf of the entire OIS Center, we would like to extend our warmest congratulations to Marie Louise on this significant and well-deserved appointment. We are delighted to see Open Innovation in Science represented at the highest levels of research and innovation policy in Denmark, and we look forward to the valuable contributions she will bring to the Council's work.
About DFIR
According to DFIR, the Council's purpose is to promote the development of Danish research, technological advancement, and innovation for the benefit of society. The Council provides independent advice to the Minister for Higher Education and Science, the Danish Parliament, and other government ministers. Established by law, the Council consists of a Chair and eight members appointed in their personal capacity for a three-year term, with the possibility of reappointment for a further three years. The Council is supported by an independent secretariat within the Ministry of Higher Education and Science.
